Today, Maximum Football has officially released on Xbox Game Preview. The game is now available to download for free to play on Xbox Series X|S. This comes just a few weeks after the game released into Early Access on Steam, where the game has garnered a Mixed rating. Players have been following the development of this game for years, and now we are able to play it for ourselves on console.

Xbox Game Preview is a program that allows players to try out new releases while they are still in development. This lets players give direct feedback to the developers, and help influence the final product prior to release. Maximum Entertainment, the developers behind Maximum Football, have said the full release of Maximum Football is scheduled for sometime in 2025. The game is scheduled to come to PlayStation consoles as well in 2025.
The Xbox Game Preview version of Maximum Football is the same as the Steam Early Access version. The game has modes like College Dynasty, online multiplayer, and the full customization suite. College Dynasty allows players to create the university of their dreams, and build them into a powerhouse. Other modes like Pro Franchise are scheduled to be added to the game at a later date.
Along with the game which is free to play, there are a few premium items you can buy if you want to financially support the project. There is the Maximum Football: Starter Pack, which includes cosmetics, card packs, and enough currency to purchase the Season Pass. There is also the Dynasty Edition of the game. This gives players the ability to start as many new saves and play as many seasons as you want. There are also exclusive cosmetics for this version.
