In the sports world, all eyes are on MLB as we near the All-Star break. The NBA and NHL just crowned new champions, while the NFL is still weeks away from training camps even starting. With that in mind, MLB The Show 22 has started to ramp up its content in Diamond Dynasty, as today it got a huge influx of new content to grind out. This new MLB The Show 22 content includes new legends from Home Run Derby X, moments, conquest maps, programs, and a new event.

Home Run Derby X

Starting July 9th, MLB legends, softball stars, and UK developmental prospects will complete in three separate competitions in a new event called Home Run Derby X. This is an attempt to grow the game across the globe, as these three competitions will take place in London, Seoul, and Mexico City.

To celebrate this new event, MLB The Show 22 has added four of the legendary MLB players that will be participating in Home Run Derby X (HRDX) in Diamond Dynasty. These new 95 OVR cards include

  • Dodgers 1B Adrian Gonzalez
  • Cubs C Geovany Soto
  • Red Sox LF Jonny Gomes
  • Yankees RF Nick Swisher

Players have several opportunities to earn these players and add them to their team. They can redeem a free, yes FREE, HRDX Choice Pack in The Show Shop, and then earn another choice pack by completing the new HRDX (London) conquest map, and two more be getting 5 and 10 wins in the Moonshot event.

The HRDX Choice Packs are only available in-game until Tuesday, July 12th, 11AM PT.

July Monthly Awards Program

The first week of July has concluded, and already some players are showing off this month. Five new Topps Now cards have been added as part of the July Monthly Awards Program to celebrate their performance. These 91 OVR cards feature:

  • Phillies 1B Darick Hall
  • Phillies RP Mark Appel
  • Guardians 2B Andres Gimenez
  • Rockies SP Chad Kuhl
  • Pirates C Michael Perez

These cards are earned by completing 8 moments in the July Monthly Awards Program. Collecting all five of these cards rewards the player with 500 stubs and a Headliners Pack Set 23.

San Diego Padres Nike City Connect Program

MLB The Show 22 has added yet another Nike City Connect Program. At this point, these programs are starting to feel very repetitive. This new one features the San Diego Padres new pink, yellow, and blue uniforms. Players who complete this program will earn this jersey, along with 93 OVR SP Joe Musgrove, and the other rewards that have been present in the previous Nike City Connect Programs.

Headliner Set 29

As I stated in my previous article, the 29th Headliner was leaked in a previous announcement on the MLB The Show website. The new Headliner is in fact 96 OVR Awards Series Xander Bogaerts.

I am making $92 an hour working from home. i was greatly surprised at the same time as my neighbour advised me she changed into averaging $ninety five however I see the way it works now. I experience mass freedom now that I’m my non-public boss.
