MLB The Show 22 just got its biggest content update of the year. The Faces of the Franchise Featured Program has concluded, and in its place enters the Spring Cleanup Program, which features 5 new bosses for players to pick from. The first big roster update has also arrived, adding several new diamond and gold tier players.

Spring Cleanup Program

The second Featured Program, Spring Cleanup, brings five new bosses for players to earn. Players will be able to earn two choice packs in the program that will contain the new bosses. These bosses are 93 overall versions of Eddie Matthews, Zack Britton, Ernie Banks, Tom Seaver, and David Justice.

This new program features several ways for players to earn XP. Like usual, there is a conquest map, moments, collections, exchanges, and Parallel XP missions. On top of this, players will earn 2,000 XP for each game they win in the new Bosses Brand Event.

On top of the 5 new bosses, this program has several other rewards for players. There is a Diamond Classics pack that includes 3 flashback players of the month cards, a postseason flashback David Price, and a flashback prospect Alec Bohm. The NL and AL flashbacks and legends from the Faces of the Franchise program have returned as rewards for this program. There are also several Headliners, Big Dog, and The Show packs throughout the new program, which goes all the way to 750,000 XP. The Spring Cleanup program will last for three weeks before leaving the game.

This program is very similar to the previous Nike City Connect Programs, with slightly more rewards, with an extra Headliners pack and 5 The Show pack bundle.

Three new 85 overall cards have been added to the April Monthly Awards Program. Eric Lauer, Michael King, and MacKenzie Gore are the newest Topps Now cards. Six new moments will earn players these cards, which when collected grant a The Show pack and 2,000 stubs.

MLB The Show 22

A brand new event has launched in MLB The Show 22. The Bosses Band Event uses players from the AL East, NL East, and NL Central. 15 wins in this program rewards 92 overall Breakout Wade Boggs, and 20 wins rewards 92 overall postseason Johnny Bench.
