MLB The Show 22

The newest Featured Program has been released for MLB The Show 22 and it is sizzling. At least the card art is. This new program brings four new Takashi Okazaki bosses that players will try to earn, along with other packs, cards, and rewards. This program debuts alongside a new event and Headliner pack.

MLB The Show 22 Sizzling Summer Featured Program

The newest Featured Program is another smaller program, with five new bosses that players will work towards for the next two and a half weeks. Four of those bosses are Takashia Okazaki series 96 OVR legends. These new cards include:

Players will be able to earn two of these four from choice packs included in the Featured Program at 250,000 and 325,000 XP each. In between these two choice packs is the fifth boss of the program, 96 OVR Prime Series Fernando Valenzuela. This card was put in the program to celebrate the anniversary of Valenzuela’s first no-hitter.

This program brings with it new moments, exchanges, parallel XP missions, and the Grand Flag Conquest map. The new map has several hidden packs, including a Cover Athletes Choice Pack for completing the entire map.

Sizzling Summer Event

A new event has arrived to go alongside the new Featured Program. This program has players use NL West and AL West pitchers against NL East and NL Central hitters in 3-inning games on All-Star difficulty. 12 wins in this program earns players 95 OVR Signatures Jay Buhner, and 15 wins earns them 95 OVR Awards Carlos Santana.

Headliner Pack

The 27th Headliners Set features a throwback of a fan favorite player. The new Headliner is 96 OVR Finest Brandon Webb. This card is based on his 2006 season where he finished with a 16-8 record with 178 strikeouts and a 3.10 ERA which earned him a Cy Young Award.
