With the Daytona 500 here, fans have wondered when NASCAR Heat 4 will see the update for the 2020 season.

Unfortunately for those fans, that update won’t be coming this year as 704 Games has decided to put the focus solely on the upcoming release of NASCAR Heat 5

The announcement came via a blog post on the game’s website.

“There has been a lot of discussion on our NASCAR Heat channels about the 2020 season DLC update. We have taken the decision to focus on the future of the franchise and as a result, we are unable to provide the 2020 DLC in any future NH4 updates.”

The company added that the team has “exciting plans” for the next NASCAR game, and that an update on what to expect will be coming in the “very near future.” It was also announced that 704 games will have an AMA on Reddit on Thursday to answer any fan questions that may come out of this announcement.

NASCAR Heat 5 is expected to launch later this year.
