NBA 2K19 Cover Athlete Announced

In a special announcement on the official NBA 2K social media accounts, 2K Sports revealed that Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo will grace the cover of NBA 2K19.

Antetokounmpo becomes the first international player to be on the cover of an NBA 2K title. You can check out the official game cover below.

Drafted in 2013, the Greece native has risen from a 15th overall pick to a superstar in the NBA with the Bucks. In his five seasons with the Bucks, Antetokounmpo has averaged over 17 points per game as well as over seven rebounds per game. In 2017-18, Antetokounmpo averaged just under 27 points and 10 rebounds per game.

NBA 2K19 launches of September 11 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Those who pre-order the Anniversary Edition of the game will get access starting September 7.
