NBA 2K23 Adds Unreleased Song From A Boogie wit da Hoodie

NBA 2K23 2K Beats Key Art

NBA 2K23 released about two months ago now and following its release the game has continued to receive new content. Recently, new Halloween cosmetics and events were added to the game in its newest season. Today, the updates continued as a new song was added to the game’s soundtrack.

Today, the new song “Ballin’” from artist A Boogie wit da Hoodie was added to the NBA 2K23 soundtrack. The new, previously unreleased track will be a part of the artist’s fourth studio album, Me vs Myself, which is set to release later this week. A Boogie announced the release of the song with a video posted to his Twitter and Instagram.

2K and Music

This song joins an already loaded soundtrack that debuted when the game launched in September. Big-name artists like Drake, Doja Cat, and Megan Thee Stallion all have songs featured in the game. This year’s game put a big emphasis on the relationship between music and basketball. Artist J. Cole became the first musician to be featured on the cover of an NBA 2K game. The game’s MyCAREER mode also features several cutscenes where players can try and build a music career off the court.

This isn’t the first time new music has been added to NBA 2K23. With the beginning of Season 2 in the game came the NBA 2K Producer Series. This feature in the game allows players to create their own verses for beats that have been released in the game. Players can then share these verses on social media with their friends. The first beat for this series was from Grammy Award-winning producer BoogzDaBeast.

More Music on the Way

This also will not be the last time new music will be added to NBA 2K23. Two more unreleased songs will make their world debuts in the game in the weeks to come. The tracks will feature artists like Connie Diamond Feat. Damian “Dame D.O.L.L.A.” Lillard and Dave East.
