Today, NBA 2K25 received its Season 2 update. This update brought the usual rewards to modes like MyCAREER, MyTEAM, and The W Online. This includes things like apparel, VC, and other items for your player or MyTEAM. The unusual thing added today though was an entire new game that is now being offered as paid DLC for NBA 2K25.

Gravity Ball

Let’s start with the unusual part of today’s update. Gravity Ball, a brand new game from Visual Concepts South, is now available through NBA 2K25 as optional paid DLC. Visual Concepts South is the same team that developed Lego 2K Drive, as well as The Track for NBA 2K25. This game apparently was a passion project for the team, and was an internal favorite around the studio.

Gravity Ball is a multiplayer game where teams of either 3 or 5 players compete in a domed arena. Players fight for control of the central ball, and throw it at numbered targets to score points. Playing Gravity Ball will grant you Season XP and VC in NBA 2K25. The game is available for $7.99, and can only be accessed through The City in NBA 2K25.

Season 2

Now let’s look at the Season 2 content coming to NBA 2K25. First up is the new things added to MyCAREER. You’ll need to earn XP to advance the Season Pass to earn rewards. The Level 14 reward is a Go-Kart you can use to travel around The City. Level 32 gets you the 2K x New Balance TWO WXY v5 shoe. This is a special version of Jamal Murray’s signature New Balance shoe. If you make it all the way to Level 40, you’ll get a +1 Cap Breaker. This can be used to increase an attribute rating above its max potential.

Moving over to MyTEAM, the new Season Pass has plenty of new cards to add to your lineup. Starting off with the face of Season 2, we have a Sapphire Jamal Murray at Level 1. This card comes with an Evolution to an 89 Overall Ruby. Evolutions are cards that can be upgraded to better versions by completing certain requirements. Next up at Level 20 is the Amethyst Obi Toppin, followed by the Level 35 Diamond James Worthy.

The last few levels of the Season Pass are where things really get interesting. At Level 34, you will get a free Deluxe Pack Wheel Spin, while Level 37 will get you a free HOF badge. Last, but certainly not least, is the Level 40 Pink Diamond Tyrese Haliburton. This 96 OVR guard is sure to have your offense running smooth as a finger roll.

Finally, The W Online has plenty of rewards coming its way. The WNBA is in the final stages of its most successful season in terms of attendance and viewership in the league’s history. To celebrate that, several top rewards are coming to The W. Some of these rewards include:

Weekly Goals

  • Scorpio Hoodie + Necklace
  • Witches Hat
  • Holiday Vines Sleeve + Halloween Sleeves
  • Tamika Catchings Jersey Dress
  • Sagittarius Hoodie + Necklace
  • 5 Game Team Accelerators

Season Rewards

  • Indiana Fever Jersey or Logo Card
  • Phoenix Mercury Say Her Name Jersey
  • Clothing Bundles
  • Breakthrough Sleeve
  • Badge Perks
  • 5,000 VC
  • Sheryl Swoopes Coach Card
