With an announcement of the game expected in the coming weeks, it appears some new AEW Fight Forever features have been leaked.
Thanks to a posting on Amazon UK, a number of new details have been revealed. First thing’s first, the game from Yuke’s and THQ Nordic will apparently be available for all major platforms: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and even Nintendo Switch.
From the store page:
“AEW: Fight Forever brings the best of the best from that talent roster together in one game! Online co-op wrestling is going completely next level in Fight Forever with Tag Team matches that feature sequences of team maneuvers performed with simple commands.
A deep career mode, wrestler customization, signature AEW arenas, multiple match types and more match types than you can count, including some good ol’ fashioned, unsanctioned fun, all await!”
Also revealed from the store page are the match types within the game: “Single, tag-team, 3-way, 4-way, ladder, Casino Battle Royale, Falls Count Anywhere, Unsanctioned Lights Out, Exploding Barbed Wire Death and online co-op multi-player matches”.
AEW Fight Forever is expected to launch later this year. The page has a release date of December 31, 2022, but that’s just a placeholder ahead of the official release date announcement.
Hopefully, though, the exploding barbed wire death match within the game turns out better than what the company has had in its past.
