PGA Tour 2K23 is getting another bit of new content this week. In a press release from early Monday morning, 2K announced that a brand new course is coming to the game. We also got the reveal of a new female golfer coming to the game in the future.
New Content
Today, a brand new course named Payne’s Valley was added to PGA Tour 2K23. This course was designed by none other than Tiger Woods himself. The course serves as a tribute to legendary golfer Payne Stewart. Stewart won 11 PGA Tour events during his career, including 3 major tournaments.
The course is set in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri and features some of the most beautiful landscapes PGA Tour 2K23 has seen yet. The game’s website says the course has “an inviting layout, with stunning water features, expansive fairways, and sublime greens, that will test golfers of all abilities.”
The 18th hole, nicknamed “The Big Rock”, is one of the featured holes for the course. This par 5 will require a lengthy shot off the tee in order to just score par on the hole. The hole features bunkers that flank either side of the green to add some extra strategy to your approach.
A new female golfer will be coming to PGA Tour 2K23 later this year. Nelly Korda will join the current lineup of female pros already in the game. Korda is a major champion, Olympic gold medalist, as well as an eight-time LPGA Tour event winner.
