NHL 21 Beta Registration Now Live

NHL 21

Fans who want to get their hands on NHL 21 will get a chance soon. EA Sports opened up registration for NHL 21 beta access on its website today. After logging in with your EA account the NHL Technical Test asks for some basic information. You are then given the option of PlayStation 4 (North America), PlayStation 4 (Other Regions), and Xbox One.

As of this writing, there are no details about when the beta will be, or how long registration will be up. In a blog post, the NHL 21 team says fans will get their first look at the game in late August, which may be when the beta launches. Last year, EA Sports had a beta for NHL 20 as well. The NHL 20 open beta ran for five days, a little over a month before the game’s release date. An August beta would still be about a month before NHL 21’s new release date. This also depends on what the difference is, if any, between NHL 20’s open beta and NHL 21’s Technical Test.

NHL 21 Release Date

The NHL 21 team recently announced that the game’s release would be delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. NHL 21 is currently slated to be released on October 16th, a date revealed through listings on both the PlayStation and Microsoft Stores. You can pre-order NHL 21 right now through either store, starting at $59.99 for the Standard Edition.

Little is known about NHL 21 outside of its release date. There will likely be more revealed before the beta launch. However, this NHL 21 beta registration will give players access to the game before October. There are a lot of things we hope are in NHL 21, which you can find in our wish list below.
