NHL 24 releases later this week, and players are incredibly eager to get their hands on the latest entry in the series. Luckily for some, they can download the game and start playing right now. Even better, they can do it for free!
EA Play Trial
EA Play members can download a 10-hour trial of NHL 24 and start playing the game right now. Players can get their first taste of the new Vision Passing System and Total Control Skill Moves, which aim to give players more control than ever before. Along with this, the new Physics-Based Contact allows players to set the tone with a physical and realistic playstyle. These new gameplay systems were updated and tuned prior to launch based on feedback from community playtests.
On top of these gameplay improvements, NHL 24 also features major changes to modes like Franchise and HUT. Franchise updates this year include improvements to X-Factor evolution and devolution, along with improvements to how coaches utilize and build their lineups. There are also improvements to the creation zone to let players create the teams and players of their dreams. In HUT, the new HUT Moments allows players to play through some of the biggest moments both from hockey history as well as the upcoming NHL season.
Along with the 10-hour trial, players will also receive some in-game items as a bonus for their subscription. EA Play members will receive the “Deadly Attackers” Shark Set, World of Chel Battle Pass Multiplier Boost Tokens, Store Coins, and Themed Gear all for free.
For those without an EA Play subscription, you’ll have to wait just a couple more days. NHL 24 will release worldwide on October 6th for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Those who purchased the X-Factor Edition of the game can now access the game with their 3 days of early access.
