Streamlined Franchise Hub

The heart of Franchise Mode, the hub, has undergone a significant overhaul. Players can now access crucial information more quickly and efficiently:

  • New widgets display vital stats like team point leaders, goals per game, and powerplay percentage.
  • A ticker at the bottom of the screen provides real-time updates, mimicking the excitement of trade deadline day.
  • Quick Links offer easy access to essential management tasks, from advancing the day to checking player morale.

Enhanced Stats and Awards Tracking

For the stats enthusiasts:

  • Detailed box scores are now available for every game, including pre-season and playoffs.
  • Player cards now showcase a comprehensive history of awards won throughout a player’s career, both real and simulated.

Realistic Contract Negotiations

Contract talks have been revamped to add depth and authenticity:

  • Players may now request partial or full no-movement clauses.
  • An “Organization Meter” displays a player’s interest in joining your team based on factors like market size and team status.
  • Teams can attempt to trade players based on contract terms and player motivation.

Improved Conversation System

Player development takes center stage with an enhanced conversation system:

  • Assign both short-term and long-term goals to players, impacting their attributes and X-Factor development.
  • Focus on specific areas of improvement during the offseason, including position changes and playstyles.
  • Set preferred lines and lock players into specific roles for smoother roster management.

Draft Pick Integration

A boon for the roster-sharing community:

  • Draft picks can now be included in the player movement screen.
  • Trade up to five years’ worth of draft picks to keep rosters current between official updates.

Presentation Upgrades

While not directly related to Franchise Mode, NHL 25 boasts several presentation enhancements that will elevate the overall experience:

  • Next-gen character models with improved hair and cloth physics.
  • A new Grudge Match System that tracks rivalry history across game modes.
  • An Infinite Camera System for more dynamic and broadcast-quality replays.
  • The introduction of Hypestage, a 3D platform for immersive storytelling during key moments.

These updates to NHL 25’s Franchise Mode aim to provide players with a more authentic and engaging management experience. Whether you’re a seasoned GM or a newcomer to the franchise, these enhancements promise to make your journey from the draft to the Stanley Cup more exciting than ever.
