Out of the Park Baseball 24 Steps Up to the Plate This March

Spring is just around the corner, and with spring comes a new baseball season. It wouldn’t be baseball season without Out of the Park (OOTP) Baseball. Today, Out of the Park Baseball Developments and Com2uS announced Out of the Park Baseball 24. This next entry in the popular MLB strategy game will release on PC and Mac on March 24, 2023. The game is now available for pre-order on the game’s website, which includes a 10% discount.

In the announcement trailer posted on OOTPDevelopments’ YouTube channel, we got our first look at the upcoming game. Improvements to this year’s game include on-screen analytics and new 3-D animations. Improvements to the game’s franchise mode include a dynamic trade deadline, dynamic owner goals, improved international free agency, and more. The game’s card-collecting mode, Perfect Team, also promises to have new features and improvements.

Richard Grisham, Director of Business Development at Com2uS said, “The sweeping upgrades to OOTP 24 are about empowering our fans with the fantasy of managing their own professional baseball team, complete with all its unique challenges. Players will hold the team’s fate in their hands, from satisfying their owner’s ever-changing needs to facing the fiercest trade and contract negotiations ever. No two seasons, deals, or disputes should ever play out the same—just like real-life baseball.”

The previous entry in the series, OOTP 23, was well-received by players. The game currently sits at Very Positive reviews on Steam. Hopefully, this next version will be just as successful. The 2016 version of the game won Metacritic’s “PC Game of the Year” award. The game beat out heavy hitters like Overwatch and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Blood and Wine.

Stay tuned in the coming weeks as Out of the Park Developments will continue to reveal more information about the game. Out of the Park Baseball 24 releases March 24, 2023 on PC, Mac, and Linux via direct download, Steam, and Epic Games Store.
