Konami has revealed the content that will be included in the first two free download updates for Pro Evolution Soccer 2017.

Konami will be providing free updates throughout the year to improve the on-field and presentation elements of PES 2017. The first update will be available at the end of October, and the second will follow at the end of November.

Update 1.02 will be available before the end of the month, and it will bring with it a number of improved facial likenesses to players within the game: footballers like Wissam Ben Yedder, Mario Lemina, Americ Laporte, Victor Wanyama, and Denis Suarez. The individual playstyles of these footballers will also be recreated in the game. Update 1.02 will improve the pitch side hoardings and introduce new boot styles to the game.

Update 1.03, which will be available in November, will introduce a 4K resolution mode to PES 2017. The 1.03 update will also include key elements centered on Konami’s premier partnership teams—Liverpool FC and Borussia Dortmund.

Liverpool’s Anfield stadium will be added to the game’s selection of venues. Liverpool songs and chants will also be heard as players walk onto the pitch and during matches. Borussia Dortmund’s Signal Iduna Park will also be included in PES 2017.

Both the October and November updates will add more official iconography to the main game, with kit additions, new boot styles, and bug fixes. More details will be revealed before the patches are released.
