PGA Tour 2K23 is now available to players via early access. Those who bought the standard edition will be able to hit the green this weekend. The newest golf game from 2K Sports has fans excited for many reasons, and an announcement made earlier today is sure to add to the excitement.
PGA Tour 2K23 Post Launch Apparel Content
This morning, 2K announced a series of post-launch content drops that will be added to the game. These content additions feature some of the biggest brands in sports and gaming media. New apparel and playable characters from Dude Perfect, 100 Thieves, and Barstool Sports will be added to the game to keep the fairway fresh and exciting. This additional content will be free to all players.
Dude Perfect
The first of these content drops will come in late October with the Dude Perfect additions. PGA Tour 2k23 players will be able to add Dude Perfect branded hats, hoodies, and polos to their MyPLAYER. The Dude Perfect team will also compete in an upcoming video to see which of them will be added into PGA Tour 2K23 as a playable character later next year.
100 Thieves
There will also be new content from professional gaming organization 100 Thieves added this year. This will include MyPLAYER apparel, as well as 100 Thieves CEO Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag being added as another new playable character. Nadeshot previously collaborated with PGA Tour 2K on the ‘Thieves Landing’ created course in PGA Tour 2K21.
Barstool Sports
The last of these content drops will come in early 2023 when Barstool Sports walks onto the fairway. Barstool Sports branded apparel and cosmetics will be added for players to use in the game. The four hosts of Barstool Sports’ famous golf podcast, Fore Play, will also be added to PGA Tour 2K23. Barstool Sports has previously hosted online tournaments in PGA Tour 2K21 through the Barstool Golf Society.
PGA Tour 2K23 releases worldwide on October 14 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam.
