PGA Tour 2K23 Gameplay Trailer Released

2K Sports gives us more on the upcoming golf game

After its feature and cover announcement on August 22, 2K Sports has given fans the first PGA Tour 2K23 gameplay trailer along with some more information about the features coming to this year’s game.

PGA Tour 2K23 introduces playable pros for the first time in series history, including the return of Tiger Woods to golf video games. In addition, the game adds a three-click swing mechanic for more casual players as well as Topgolf integration to bring the real-life fun to the virtual world.

Joining Woods as playable golfers are Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Lexi Thompson, among others. Oh yeah, Michael Jordan is also a playable golfer in PGA Tour 2K23.

“Jordan is just one of the many of the playable celebrities in PGA TOUR 2K23, but you’ll have to wait for the rest,” 2K states.

New licensed courses this year include Wilmington Country Club, The Renaissance Club, and St. George’s Golf and Country Club. PGA Tour 2K23 will feature 20 official courses overall, including the aforementioned ones.

“PGA TOUR 2K23 boasts a vast collection of licensed courses that have played host to some of the game’s most memorable moments, and now it’s time to leave your mark in history. Experience the pageantry and challenge that comes with playing at world-renowned locations,” the company says.

PGA Tour 2K23 launches on October 14 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 , PlayStation 4 and Steam. Those who pre-order the Deluxe or Tiger Woods edition of the game get it three days earlier on October 11.
