F1 2021 Features Trailer Looks at New Modes

A brand new trailer and details have been released for F1 2021 as EA Sports has released a look at the features for the game. The trailer showcases everything from the new “Braking Point” story mode to the all-new two-player career mode.

Reach your Braking Point in F1 2021

One of the biggest new features in F1 2021 is the story known as “Braking Point”. In the mode, players will work to rise from the ranks of F2 with one of five 2021 FIA Formula One World Championship Teams. As part of your journey, you’ll once again come across former rival Devon Butler.

Moving away from the story, F1 2021 sees a two-player career mode for the very first time. The mode allows players to play online or locally with a friend. In this mode, you can either race on rival teams or join the same team, and work to reach the pinnacle of F1.

Lastly, My Team returns with real-world stat updates from various F1 drivers that will be updated throughout the season. A new real-season start feature will let players start their team at any point in the calendar that has already passed. Doing this will give you up-to-date standings to deal with as you make your decisions both on and off the circuit.

F1 2021 launches on July 16 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Preordering the Digital Deluxe version of the game gives you seven classic F1 drivers for use in My Team, exclusive customization content, 18,000 PitCoins, the Braking Point Content Pack, and three days early access.
