According to Codemasters, choosing to remove the feature was not easy. Despite, the removal, Codemasters aims to re-enable ray-tracing as soon as possible. In addition to PS5,  F1 2021 launched for PC and Xbox. Ray-tracing for the PC and Xbox Series X versions remain intact.

Codemasters did not provide a timeframe at this time.
