Today, Codemasters and EA announced the signing of Scuderia Ferrari’s, Charles Leclerc as EA SPORTS ambassador and cover star of F1 22. The current 2022 FIA Formula One World Championship leader takes center stage alongside rising stars, Lando Norris and George Russell.

In addition to the announcement, players can pre-order the Champions Edition now. Furthermore, F1 22 Champions Edition celebrates the four previous World Champions on the grid this year. These include: Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel, Fernando Alonso, and current holder, Max Verstappen. The Champions Edition comes with additional content, including a time-limited Miami influenced pack inspired by the city’s iconic skyline and lights to commemorate the inaugural FORMULA 1 CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX as well as three days early access.

The new F1 welcomes in the new era of Formula 1. The latest game embraces revolutionary cars designed to promote competition with new rules aimed at reimagining the race weekend.
F1 22 delivers fast-paced, authentic simulation racing for the core players. In addition, the game features new Adaptive AI to help casual fans advance faster and more efficiently. The new F1 Life hub lets players show off their collection of items earned through gameplay, Podium Pass, and the in-game brand store. Returning features include the 10-year Career complete with a two-player option, My Team, as well as Multiplayer. F1 22 releases July 1 for PlayStation, Xbox, as well as PC via the EA App, Origin, Steam, and Epic Store.
