F1 23 Latest Deep Dive Highlights Braking Point 2 and F1 World

Earlier this month, Codemasters outlined all its events leading us to the release of F1 23, and so far, we know more about the new gameplay enhancements from the last deep dive. However, on Monday, the F1 developers continued its run of deep-dive YouTube videos, with its latest one focusing on Braking Point 2 and F1 World.

Braking Point 2

So far, we know that Braking Point 2 is returning in F1 23, and it will have a narrative-driven focus that will showcase all the drama in racing. However, the game’s latest deep dive suggests that Braking Point 2 will get many graphical enhancements. The game will use DI4D technology to bring characters to life a enhance visual fidelity, in return making cutscenes and post-race cinematics look realistic.  

Join the team

The next chapter in F1’s narrative mode will feature a fictional team named Konnersport. This team has two major rivals, Aiden Jackson and Devin Butler. However, a new driver enters the F1 racing scene to shake things up and push to become the top driver. 

In Braking Point 2, the focus will be on the 2022 and 2023 seasons. As well as some familiar faces, there are a whole host of new characters that feature in the story. One of those is the newly crowned Formula 2™ champion, Callie Mayer.

F1 World

When F1 World was announced, Codemasters said that it was the player’s hub for everything F1. Well, in the latest deep dive, Codemasters didn’t hold back. Loads of things coming to F1 World will keep players playing through events, challenges, and much more!

F1 23 will be out June 16, and it will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
