In June, Playground Games announced its upcoming Forza Horizon was taking place in a recreation of Mexico. Just like previous Forza Horizon titles, the setting is almost as important as the cars that drive in it. Forza Horizon 5 is no different. Playground Games revealed its newest trailer during Xbox’s live stream at Gamescom. The trailer showcases the new landscape, cars, and diverse terrain that Forza Horizon 5 has to offer.

Forza Horizon 5’s Newest Trailer

Drivers are gathering at the famous Horizon Festival, and what better way to make an entrance then drop out of a cargo ship in a 2021 Ford Bronco. The trailer continues by showing off the different terrains, this time on top of a snowy Gran Caldera volcano. The trailer then moves to a desert landscape where the Horizon Festival is taking place. From here, we get our first look at a 2020 Corvette Stingray as it traverses the desert while chasing down a Mexico dust storm.

The eight-minute-long trailer goes on to show a Porsche 911 driving through the jungle as well as a Mercedes-AMG ONE racing to the Horizon Festival for a grand finish.

In Xbox’s line up of exclusives, Forza Horizon 5 looks like it’s going be a favorite amongst fans. Forza Horizon 5 drifts into stores on November 9, 2021 and is coming to Xbox Game Pass day one.
