Milestone’s first Superbike game in ten years, SBK 22, is out now. This racing title will take full advantage of Xbox Smart delivery and will be available for a free upgrade on Playstation. SBK 22 is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Steam.
What to expect in SBK 22
SBK 22 brings back the SBK World Championship in its extensive career mode. In addition, the career mode will have all the Superbike Championship events as well as all fully licensed teams and riders.
Gameplay-wise, Milestone’s latest racing game aims to bring an authentic racing experience to fans with advanced physics and enhanced realistic features. Similar to another Milestone game, Monster Energy Supercross 5, SBK 22 will put players’ skills to the test with unforgiven racing mechanics and intelligent AI strategy. The AI uses machine learning and will change behavior depending on different race situations.
SBK 22 will have different ways to customize your rider and bike. The editor includes a sticker, helmet editor, number, and patches. Lastly, the game features up to 12 players online.
Another Milestone game
If you want to try another Milestone game, we reviewed Monster Energy Supercross 5 earlier this year. We praised the game for its realistic game mechanics and the improvements to the career mode. In addition, Monster Energy Supercross 5 has a very extensive rider editor. Here is a taste of how we felt about the game.
Motocross games have come a long way since I played MX vs. ATV: Unleashed in 2005, and Monster Energy Supercross 5 proves it. Sure, the presentation is disappointing, but the developer’s attention to gameplay and controls overshadows any fault. – Curtis Russell, Monster Energy Supercross SGO Review.
