MXGP3 – Improvements and Customization Unveiled

In a near two-minute video, Milan’s Milstone Srl unveiled new customization and technical enhancements coming to MXGP3.

Customizing Your MXGP3

Coming to this year’s title, there will be over 300 items across 75 official gear brands. This includes items for your riders like goggles, suits, neck braces and of course helmets. In addition to decking out your rider, you can bring your bike up to speed as well. Items for bike customization include tires, rims, brake discs, hand guards and much more. As you advance through your career, there will be access to sponsor liveries like GoPro, Tag Heuer and IPONE. Milestone has said to have worked with at least 12 Official Motocross Championship partners that players will now have access to in-game.

Technical Enhancements

MXGP3 has been built using Unreal Engine 4. For players, this means more realism and authenticity for the series. Milestone has used the power of UE4 to bring much improved texture quality and particle effects. Improved lighting systems will now affect player visibility depending on weather patterns and ground conditions. Furthermore, a new sound recording and reproduction system dubbed “REV” gives players a true feel for the rumble of the bike engine. All this and much more comes packed with improved graphics across the entire game.

MXGP3 will be available May 30, 2017 digitally and physically in stores on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC/STEAM.
