Ahead of its December release, Criterion Games continue to roll out the red carpet for its upcoming racing game, Need for Speed Unbound. The game’s latest trailer provides a comprehensive look at speed races, gameplay, and more features Need for Speed Unbound offers.

Need for Speed Unbound: Speed Races, Meet Ups and Side Bets

In Need for Speed Unbound, street racers can meet up and showcase their styles and cars. From here, players can also place bets on speed races to make some extra cash.

Speed race events are your traditional race events. Of course, what sets NFS Unbound apart is the unique art direction the game offers. In the trailer, we see the signature graffiti-style flash multiple times when the driver hits their nos or gets massive air on a jump.

Something new from a familiar series

Earlier this month, Electronic Arts announced that it would not be moving forward with the Project Cars series. This leaves the NFS and F1 series as the main racing priority for the American publisher.

From what we’ve seen of Need for Speed Unbound, Criterion Games is trying to push the series in a different direction. This installment of Need for Speed will focus on its street racing roots but also introduce fans to its new graffiti art style.

Need for Speed Unbound will be released on December 8. It will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

What new features are you ready to see in Need for Speed Unbound? Will you be picking up the game in early December? Let us know in the comments.
