Need for Speed Unbound continues to improve in more creative ways since its launch in 2022. The game’s newest update, Volume 9, introduces a brand-new extraction-based game mode and motorbikes. Need For Speed Unbound Volume 9 will launch on November 26 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, via EA App and Steam.
Need For Speed Unbound: Lockdown
Lockdown is Unbound‘s newest mode. Developers Codemasters describes it as a high-risk, extraction-base game mode that is PvPvE. In this new mode, players will try their luck at claiming valuable rides like the BMW M3 GTR ‘05, and escaping the lockdown zone with an extraction truck. The concept resembles The Division‘s Dark Zone, where players pick up valuable loot and extract it from an area. The new mode also includes 14 new cars which are inspired by 2012’s Need for Speed Blacklist.
In addition to the new mode, Codemasters have added motorbikes into the game for the first time in series history. The latest trailer shows off the first bike in NFS history which is the beautiful 2019 BMW S 1000 RR. You can check out the reveal trailer of Volume 9 below.
In addition to the new content, NFS Unbound‘s latest update will feature a new Speed Pass and an optional Premium track with 75 tiers.
Need For Speed Unbound Volume 9 will launch on November 26 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, via EA App and Steam.
