The Las Vegas Grand Prix Makes Its Virtual Debut in F1 23

Viva Las Vegas!

As we get closer to the release of F1 23, series developer Codemasters continues to release in-depth information about the game. This time, we get our first official look at the gameplay and the beautiful Las Vegas Grand Prix circuit.

Tearing up Las Vegas

The Las Vegas Grand Prix is making its virtual debut in F1 23 when the game launches on June 16. The track is located on the bustling Las Vegas strip and will be featured in a multitude of different modes in the game.

“Our team has designed a wonderful virtual recreation of one of the most exciting and striking cities in the world. The sheer scale and density of the buildings in Las Vegas has been a fun challenge for the team along with the vibrance and energy of The Strip lit up for the Saturday night race. It took over 1900 days of cumulative development time to deliver that level of authenticity”, said Lee Mather, Senior Creative Director at Codemasters.

The team at Codemasters built the circuit from the ground up using actual photogrammetry data. This means the team made this track as realistic as possible using photography to replicate the circuit’s real-life counterparts.
