Both NACON and KT Racing promise players that WRC 9 will feature new improvements, as well as meet the high expectations of fans of the franchise. “With WRC 9, the passionate developers of the French studio KT Racing have pulled out all the stops to once again meet the high expectations of rally fans by providing even more realism and challenges.

Career Mode

WRC 9 will look to improve on WRC 8‘s career mode, one that NACON and KT Racing claim was “hailed as one of the best Career modes in any racing games.” WRC 9‘s career mode will feature enhanced gameplay mechanics, new opportunities to upgrade your squad, a wider variety of events, as well as a stronger link to what real-world teams are doing throughout the year.

Content and Experience

Three new events (Safari Rally in Kenya, Rally Japan and Rally New Zealand) have been added to WRC 9. Gamers will also be able to use classic cars that have “left their mark on the history of the WRC.”

As far as the experience goes, the developers have promised that they have focused on the realism of car physics (including suspensions, breaking and mass transfer) to “take authenticity to the next level.”
