EA Confirms FIFA 22 Account Hacks

EA Sports FIFA License

Over the last couple of weeks, players have reported missing FIFA coins from their Ultimate Team accounts. Hackers have targeted these accounts because of their large amounts of in-game currency. On Tuesday, Electronic Arts have confirmed that hackers filed support tickets to customer service representatives to provide an associated email, and a password reset link. From here, the hackers could access high-profile FIFA 22 FUT accounts.

In FIFA 22‘s latest Pitch Notes, EA has confirmed that it is currently working to fix the issue.

” We are currently working to identify rightful account owners to restore access to their accounts and the content within, and players affected should expect a response from our team shortly. Our investigation is ongoing as we thoroughly examine every claim of a suspicious email change request and report of a compromised account.”

Note: This information comes from Electronic Arts.

Due to the ongoing investigation, you might experience some longer wait times when playing EA’s newest FIFA game. FIFA 22 is out now on consoles and PC. You can check out our review of FIFA 22 below.
