EA Sports continues its deep dive series in EA Sports FC 24 with the latest updates coming to Ultimate Team. This year, Ultimate Team will include women’s football, new ways to improve players, and the introduction of playstyles.
Ultimate Team Evolution
Evolutions are a new way to customize and improve players in EA Sports FC 24. Players can commit footballers to an evolution slot, which will ultimately give them upgrades. However, players must complete objectives with their footballers to achieve these upgrades.

Women in Ultimate Team
We’ve heard for a while now that women will debut in EAFC Ultimate Team. Not only are female footballers making their way to the game mode, but five top women’s leagues will be added to the game at launch.
- Barclays Women’s Super League (England)
- D1 Arkema (France)
- Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga (Germany)
- Liga F (Spain)
- National Women’s Soccer League (United States)
EA Sports explained how women will work in Ultimate regarding chemistry with your team. For the most part, it will stay the same. Women from the same chemistry as men from the same club and nationality.
Playstyles
EA Sports FC 24‘s main gameplay feature, playstyles, will make its way to Ultimate Team. Similar to what we learned in the gameplay deep dive video, playstyles uniquely impact gameplay and can be upgraded to playstyles+.
In addition, EA Sports will release new versions of specific players with unique playstyles throughout the year. Players will be able to customize players in Evolutions and add more playstyles to their arsenal.
