Fans have known for a while now that this week was a massive week for EA Sports FC 25 news. And EA Sports didn’t disappoint; while the game’s reveal trailer didn’t show off any official gameplay, loads of information about EAFC 25 was announced on the game’s website.

EA Sports released EAFC 25‘s reveal trailer via YouTube. Although it didn’t feature actual gameplay, it showcased a cinematic trailer shot in the game’s Frostbite engine.
However, the reveal gave football fanatics their first look at the game’s new mode, Rush, and the ‘FC IQ’ technology.
5v5 RUSH
Rush, EAFC‘s latest 5v5 game mode, offers fans the chance to assemble their dream 5-a-side team and compete in Ultimate Team and Kick-Off.
In addition, the new mode will be introduced in Clubs. Players can team up with their friends and play 5-a-side matches.
“Team up in 5v5 Rush, a new way to play with friends in Football Ultimate Team™, Clubs, and Kick-Off with fast-paced small-sided gameplay.”
FC IQ
In March, we released an exclusive detailing an AI overhaul coming to this year’s football title. During EAFC 25‘s reveal trailer, the game briefly showed FC IQ, a new technology that delivers strategic control and AI behavior powered by real-world data.
“An overhaul of tactical foundations across the game delivers greater strategic control and more realistic collective movement at the team level. FC IQ also utilises a new AI model, powered by real-world data, to influence player tactics through all-new Player Roles.”

EA Sports FC 25 kicks off on September 27, 2024, and it will be available on PlayStation5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
