EA announced today that a prominent FIFA streamer was banned from the games after a series of abusive threats toward company employees.

Kurt0411 Banned From FIFA

Back in November, FIFA player ‘Kurt0411’ was banned from participating from FIFA Global Series events after a series of Code of Conduct violations. EA alleged that Kurt threatened players and EA employees, prompting the ban.

Today, EA announced that he will not only be banned from those events, but Kurt will no longer be able access the FIFA game, as well as all EA products. The reason, according to EA, is that Kurt continued to make threats to employees and players, and encouraged others to do the same. EA did not specify what type of threats Kurt made to these individuals.

In a statement on Twitter, EA wrote that while they welcome feedback and constructive criticism, the company will act when feedback “crosses the line to threatening, personal acts.” You can read the full statement down below:

In response to the ban, Kurt asked EA on Twitter, “Could you give me examples of when I have threatened your incompetent employees?”
