Haaland has the potential to be ranked highest in EA Sports FC 24

FIFA 23 established the norm that several players are the highest ranked in the game. And five footballers share the top spot. This trend could potentially continue in EA FC 24 as well. Players like Kylian Mbappe and Kevin De Bruyne are prime candidates to retain their ratings. However, Erling Haaland may soon be one of those at the top of the list.

Surprisingly, the striker did not get an upgrade from FIFA 22 to FIFA 23 despite having a fantastic season in the Bundesliga. He maintained his ranking of 88 overall. Being the face of the EA FC 24 game is the dream of many boys. Haaland will now experience this at the game’s launch on the 29th of September 2023. In advance of the launch, player rankings will be announced publicly, and we are looking forward to seeing these.

This Norwegian player deserves to be part of the top players at EA FC 24. In 2022, his rating was 88, and with a rating of 91 in 2023, this is a huge boost. The striker broke the Premier League goalscoring record in his debut season by finding the net 36 times in just 35 games.

Erling Braut Haaland can be ranked 91 in EA Sports FC 24

After crushing Mohammed Salah’s record for most goals in a single Premier League season, the Norwegian certainly deserves a massive boost to his overall ranking and stats. He is currently the favorite in the race for the Balon D’Or award, which would make it quite fitting if he gets an overall rating of 91 with the following stats:

Before the introduction of the AcceleRATE animation technique to HypermotionV, tall strikers like Haaland were often considered useless on the virtual football field. This is because they can be difficult to use and feel quite slow to use. However, his long-legged running style made Erling one of the most dominant strikers in FIFA 23, allowing him to feint past and dominate defenders with no problem.

If the leaks that figure are to be believed, EA FC 24 will have an even more extensive version of AcceleRATE function. The introduction of brand-new running styles will ensure the viability of higher attacks is maintained. With EA Sports adding even more animations to the game, Haaland will be able to recreate his real-life form in the virtual world even more effectively.

The football sensation has been nicknamed by his teammates

The nickname for Erling Haaland has been confirmed by his teammates to be “Daemon”. His teammates at Manchester City say it is simply due to the striking resemblance he has to Daemon Targaryen from the TV series “House of the Dragon”.

The Norwegian striker has taken the Premier League by storm, scoring an incredible 52 goals in all competitions this season.

Haaland scored three goals in just 38 minutes during City’s 6-0 thrashing of Nottingham Forest in August 2022 – proving he is a “Demon” on the field as well.

It was one of six hat-tricks he has grabbed in the 2023 season – and scored 48 goals in all competitions. The nickname is used in the dressing room, with players like John Stones and Phil Foden being impressed by Haaland’s talents. If we are to believe Haaland himself, he would rather be called “The Terminator” – as he mentions in this interview.

Where did the story of Haaland begin?

Haaland plays for the Norwegian national team, but he was born in Leeds in England. His father, Alf-Inge Haaland, was himself a professional footballer. Just before his son was born, he had just changed clubs from Leeds United to Manchester City.

Alf-Inge played in midfield and right back during his career. It is a completely different position than the son has. Father Haaland has been his son’s biggest role model and a great inspiration in life.

Haaland spent his childhood in Bryne in Norway. At the age of just 15, he scored 18 goals in 14 games for the football team Bryne FK. This was in the 2015/16 season, where he was a reserve. He played the next 15 games in Bryne FK without scoring, but he had already managed to make a name for himself.

In 2017, Haaland moved to Molde and became part of Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s Elite Series Club, Molde FK. There he scored the winning goal in his first match, which was against Volda TF. And thus, the career was a fact.

The Norwegian player with the world at his feet

At Aker Stadion in 2018, Haaland showed his unique forward style. In 20 minutes, he scored four goals for his team, knocking league leader SK Brann off the pedestal. In the stands, scouts from Manchester United brought unique and created international interest.

Haaland finished the 2018 season as Molde’s top scorer with 16 goals and he also received the Breakthrough of the Year award in the Elite Series of Norway.

It is quite clear that Haaland’s long-term future is bright. Haaland has publicly shown his respect for his Scandinavian teammate, Zlatan Ibrahimovic. To TV 2, he stated that: “For me, Zlatan is the greatest, he is from Scandinavia, so someone has to take over from him”.

Whether Haaland will follow in Ibrahimovic’s career track playing in the Barcelona and Milan clubs or not, it is quite clear that he will end his career with a hefty number of trophies and an impressive number of goals.
