UFL‘s live stream gave us an in-depth look at what to expect with Strikerz Inc’s upcoming football title. The live stream showcased UFL’s league table, team line-ups, and gameplay trailer. Overall at launch, UFL will be a very online-focused game with a flagship feature that resembles FIFA‘s Ultimate Team. However, the game will feature an offline mode, but it will be more for competing against friends and improving your club. Nevertheless, here is a breakdown of everything we learned from UFL‘s gameplay trailer live stream.
Ultimate Team Structure
Unfortunately, for the players who want a full offline career mode experience with UFL, that isn’t what the game is aiming for here. Strikerz Inc’s primary focus is currently online play. The game will feature an Ultimate Team-like game mode, this feature will allow players to create and manage their own club. In addition, players will use in-game currency to buy players and build chemistry to strengthen their squad. However, squad chemistry isn’t the only one that makes your team better; you can also develop individual players to increase the talent on the pitch.
Strikerz Inc.’s football game will have a division-based ranking system that will match you with players of a similar skill level. You will compete in seasonal leagues and play for the highest prizes UFL offers.
Similar to FIFA‘s Kick-Off mode, you can play co-op with friends. This feature will support one vs. one, two vs. two, and three vs. three. As of now, Strikerz Inc doesn’t have an offline career mode. However, since the game is free-to-play, we might get this feature implemented later.
UFL has struck deals with four different players as brand ambassadors for the game: Romelu Lukaku, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Roberto Firmino, and Kevin de Bruyne. However, the UFL‘s live stream introduced a new ambassador in Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese international is the biggest ambassador for Strikerz Inc. because of Ronaldo’s global appeal.
Unfortunately, we don’t have the exact release date for UFL. Strikerz Inc. insists that it release the game when it’s ready. However, we know it will be within the next ten months because it is scheduled for a 2022 release.
