When is FIFA 23 Coming to Xbox Game Pass?

FIFA 23

It’s time to hit the pitch for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, FIFA 23, also known as the last FIFA game, is heading to Game Pass. Usually, it takes six months to a year for EA Sports games to make their way to Game Pass, but fans waiting for the game to come to Xbox’s subscription service won’t have to wait much longer. FIFA 23 is hitting Xbox Game Pass on May 16.

An EA Play Special

Xbox has a good knack for getting companies to partner with its Game Pass service. EA Play joined Xbox’s subscription service a few years ago, and ever since, new games in the Madden, NHL, and FIFA series have been added months later their initial release.

So, if you’re an Ultimate subscriber, you won’t have to rush out and get the latest sports game.

What does FIFA 23 bring to the table?

FIFA 23 is the last game in the series following the split between FIFA- the football governing body, and Electronic Arts. I won’t go into detail about what happened between these two juggernaut companies, but you can check out the full story here.

Electronic Arts’ football game brings small additions to its player and manager career mode. Other modes like Pro Clubs and Volta have also received minor upgrades, but if you’re an Ultimate Team player, FIFA 23 has much to dive into.

While FIFA 23‘s presentation and gameplay have improved, the lack of care and significant updates to fan-favorite modes continue to slow this series down.
