Xbox Game Pass has been hitting on all cylinders lately. Over the last couple of months, some huge titles have been added to the platform. This includes some day-one releases like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Now, to start off the new year, it looks like a couple more big games are being added.

UFC 5 Comes to EA Play

Today, UFC 5 was added to EA Play. This allows all EA Play subscribers to play the game. EA Play is included in the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, so Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will also now have full access to the game.

UFC 5 was the fifth installment in EA Sports’ MMA series. The game originally launched back in October 2023 and was the first game in the series to be developed on the Frostbite engine. It was also only the second EA Sports game ever to receive an M rating, the other being Fight Night Champion.

UFC 5’s biggest new feature was the Real Impact System. This system added over 60,000 new possible face damage combinations of blood, sweat, and tears. Cinematic K.O. Replays helped to show off those huge hits that put a fight to an end and bring the crowd to its feet. Online Career Mode was also added, allowing players to take their created fighters online against one another. You can read our review of UFC 5 from 2023 here.

Since the game’s launch, UFC 5 has received regular updates. These updates have added new content to the game, such as new fighters, kits, arenas, and more. The ratings of all fighters have also been regularly updated based on their real-world performance.

Also being added to Xbox Game Pass on the PC Game Pass version today is the original Diablo. This game was originally released back in January 1997, before I was even born! The game was a massive success both critically and commercially for Blizzard Entertainment, spawning several sequels and being regarded as one of the greatest games of all time.
