Earlier this month, Mega Cat Studios announced the delay of its wrestling RPG, WrestleQuest. After discussions with Skybound Games, the dev team confirmed a slight delay was agreed upon, and a new release date will be announced later this month. Well, Mega Cat Studios kept its word and has shared with fans that WrestleQuest is releasing on August 8, 2023.

WrestleQuest is entering the rumble soon
In a new Twitter post, Mega Cat Studios confirmed its new release date for WreslteQuest. The newest wrestling RPG is slamming down a release date of August 8. Mega Cat Studios recently delayed the game due to a new partnership the company has acquired.
“As we raced towards the finish line to bring this giant game across all platforms, we also have secured a new partnership we are extremely excited about. Unfortunately, this development also resulted in certain issues outside of our control. As such, we wanted to get an update out to everyone that has continued to wave their foam fingers in anticipation.”
In addition to the release date of Mega Cat’s newest game, the publisher, Skybound Games, has revealed that the game will only be digital at launch, and a physical release isn’t in the plans yet.
Legends in WrestleQuest
WrestleQuest will also feature real wrestling legends that will aid you in the game. In a new trailer, players can win the support of legends, and they will help you in matches.
From what we’ve seen in the trailer, legends can help players by giving them power-ups, landing sneak attacks, or lifting the whole ring for the player’s benefit.
WrestleQuest will be out on August 8 and will be available on Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
