The AEW: Fight Forever release date could be sooner than some would have you think. Despite rumors that the game wouldn’t be coming until February 2023, that doesn’t appear to be the case.
In what may have been a slight case of a Freudian slip, it was mentioned by AEW commentator Excalibur that the game is set to release this fall. The mention came during the latest episode of AEW: Dark on YouTube.
“Evil Uno is actually in Germany right now supporting AEW: Fight Forever, the new console game coming out this fall, at Gamescom,” he said.

While it’s not a specific date, a fall release date would line up things that have been rumored and told to SGO elsewhere regarding the game’s launch. AEW has long wanted it to launch somewhere around one of its four pay-per-view events, and the company does have one in November. It would make sense then to expect a launch in either late October or early November for the game.
