The first month of 2024 is already over halfway complete; however, WWE 2K has decided not to let the month go without giving the community some new details on the upcoming WWE 2K24.

Early this week, WWE 2K social began making changes. Fans and followers alike will notice the WWE 2K social now sporting WWE 2K24 logos.

In addition to the new logos, another one of 2K’s social brands responded to the post with “It’s a date!” along with its version of the WWE 2K24 logo complete with the date of January 22, 2024. This is in addition to the WWE 2K24 bio update stating there’s more to come on that same date. This closely follows the same marketing schedule of WWE 2K23. With the Royal Rumble in later that week, one can expect details on the 22nd with more to come during the Royal Rumble event to some capacity.
2K also took to Instagram and asked WWE Superstars who they believed would be on the cover of the game. Stars like The Miz, Xavier Woods, Bianca Belair, and others gave their thoughts on who made it and why. Suggestions for cover included fellow stars like Gunther, Carmelo Hayes, Seth Rollins, Charlotte, Bianca herself, and a few others.
However, the teasers did not stop there. The WWE Games account followed up the cover teaser with one showing a sleeveless referee shirt bearing the WWE 2K24 logo. This seemed to be a direct teaser for the return of the community-requested Guest Referee match. Unfortunately, no release date has been given as of yet. We’ll have to wait until January 22 to see what’s in store for this year’s game.
