Sony Issuing WWE 2K20 Refunds

We wrote yesterday about the backlash surrounding WWE 2K20, as gamers were able to get #FixWWE2K20 trending over glitches and poor gameplay. Now, we have reports that Sony has been issuing refunds to WWE 2K gamers.

WWE 2K20 Refunds

After what’s been a terrible start for WWE 2K20, it’s no surprise that people would want their money back. The big issue is would people be able to get a full refund for the game. This is something that isn’t particularly easy when it comes to digital copies of a particular game, as just playing the game for one time could mean not being able to get your money back.

Despite that, it does look like people have been able to get their money back, as people have tweeted that they have received a refund for WWE 2K20 from Sony Support. One user wrote that as long as a gamer states that he or she was sold the game under false pretenses and expected to receive a working game, a refund would be processed.

While that sounds like great news, some people haven’t been so lucky. Some gamers took to Twitter and wrote that they have not been able to receive a refund.

In this case, it looks like talking to the right people from Sony could be the difference between getting your money back, or not receiving a refund. And Playstation 4 players aren’t the only ones asking for their money back, as Xbox users have been asking for refunds as well.

This is starting to look like a mess that one major update won’t be able to fix. For more WWE 2K20 news, be sure to keep checking out the SGO site.
