WWE fans must stand up and acknowledge the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns as he graces the standard cover of WWE 2K25. This is the second time Reigns has graced the cover, as he shared one with Becky Lynch for WWE 2K20, released in 2019. This is the first cover that he has graced alone. Behind him is the ‘Wiseman’ and hall of famer, Paul Heyman.
WWE 2K25 Standard Cover Athlete Revealed
The official announcement comes during the January 27th episode of Monday Night Raw on Netflix. A full gameplay reveal is expected to be revealed on January 28th. You can check the cover athlete announcement trailer here.
As always, there are unique covers. As previously reported, The Deadman Edition is dawning the hall of famer The Undertaker on the cover. The Bloodline Edition of WWE 2K25 features all members of the Bloodline, including Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, Sola Sikoa, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Tama Tonga, the infamous Tonga Loa and the honorary Uce, Sami Zayn (Uso).
As of this writing, there is no release date for the next installment of the WWE franchise. However, rest assured that as soon as SGO knows something, we will report it.
WWE 2K games are a far cry from the poorly received WWE 2K20. They have gradually reviewed better and better with each installment. We will have to wait and see if WWE 2K25 will continue the trend. What are you hoping to see added, removed, or improved upon in the upcoming installment?
