The first set of screenshots dropped recently for WWE 2K20 along with an announcement saying that details would be coming today, August 5. Well, the time has come and those details have officially arrived.
WWE 2K20 New Details and Cover Superstars!
If you didn’t catch the cover reveal trailer, be sure to see it above. Details on WWE 2K20 reveal a lot of firsts for the franchise. A huge one is the inclusion of the Ninth Wonder of the World, Chyna. 2K expresses this year’s game is, in a lot of ways, built from direct feedback from us, the community. As I mentioned, there as so many details, you can check them out below:
WWE 2K20 First Look
- Experience a story-driven, objective-based 2K Showcase centered around The Women’s Evolution. Specifically, players will follow the careers of the Four Horsewomen, Becky Lynch, Bayley, Charlotte Flair, and Sasha Banks.
- Streamlined control scheme built with new players and veterans in mind
- Male and female Superstars in MyCAREER
- Mixed Tag matches
- Return of WWE Towers complete with exciting new challenges, including a story-driven Tower focusing on the career of Roman Reigns.
- New service model dedicated to extending the life span of Showcase mode post launch. WWE 2K20 Originals delivers new 2K Showcase content for players explore. This content will be DLC with more details arriving later

WWE 2K20 Deluxe Edition
The Deluxe Edition will be available in both physical and digital on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. The Deluxe Edition includes:
- WWE 2K20 with Deluxe Edition packaging
- Accelerator to unlock all of the game’s content
- MyPlayer Kickstarter complete with boosts, additional starting tokens and moves
- Complete set of WWE 2K20 Originals content packages
- Playable Superstars Chyna, Hulk Hogan, “$500 Shirt” The Rock, and Rock ‘n’ Sock Connection Mankind plus more to be announced later
- WWE SuperCard Limited Edition Cards (included with physical versions only)
20th Anniversary of Smackdown WWE 2K20 Collector’s Edition
The Collector’s Edition will pay homage to the 20th anniversary of Smackdown. It will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC as well, but only in physical format. Those who snag the Collector’s Edition will receive:
- WWE 2K20 with Collector’s Edition packaging
- Accelerator to unlock all of the game’s content
- MyPlayer Kickstarter complete with boosts, additional starting tokens and moves
- Complete set of WWE 2K20 Originals content packages
