WWE 2K20 Patch 1.03 is Out: What’s New and What’s Wrong

Almost three weeks after the last update, the WWE 2K team has put out a patch for WWE 2K20. And while it looks like quite a bit has been fixed, there seems to be a major problem with the patch.

The last patch for WWE 2K20 didn’t seem to fix much of the problems, as many users were still experiencing problems with the game. However, almost three weeks later, a new patch has been put out. The 2K team has stated in the patch notes that this update will address genera issues such as game crashes and hair glitches, as well as various problems with Universe Mode and online play.

What’s wrong with the patch?

While the patch notes sound quite promising, there seems to be a major problem. Several WWE 2K20 playes have said on Twitter that upon downloading the patch, a screen pops up indicating that the saved game data has been corrupted. As of right now, the issue seems to be limited to just PC users. However, some PS4 users have also said that an error screen pops up after attempting to download the patch.

UPDATE (11/21): It looks the WWE 2K team has implemented some sort of fix for PC users. According to the YouTuber SmackTalks, the WWE 2K team has added a secondary patch on the PC, which downgrades the game to v1.02.
