Seven human user vs. human user contests along with nine human user vs. CPU and CPU vs. CPU contests highlight the opening weekend of The JFF Madden NFL (PS4) Online League. League members will have from Thursday morning, September 25, 2014 until late Sunday night, September 28, 2014 to complete their Regular Season Week One contests.

JFF 49ers (Cadillac) AT JFF Cowboys (Cliff)

This opening week contest – which features a former league champion and the defending league champion – is actually a rematch of the Fall 2013 AFC Divisional Round playoff match-up between Cadillac’s JFF Titans and Cliff’s JFF Ravens in which Baltimore prevailed 38-28.

Cadillac led the JFF N.Y. Giants to a 14-2-0 record and the Super Bowl Championship during the Fall 2004 season, and Cliff led the JFF Baltimore Ravens to a 16-0-0 record and the Super Bowl Championship last season (Fall 2013). Both league members transferred from the AFC Conference to the NFC Conference this season.

JFF Panthers (The Natural) AT JFF Buccaneers (Top Dawg)

Another intriguing match-up during the opening weekend features the Fall 2006 League Champion, The Natural and his JFF Carolina Panthers going up against their NFC South Division rival, Top Dawg and his JFF Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Top Dawg was the Fall 2013 Super Bowl IX Runner-Up, losing to Cliff’s JFF Baltimore Ravens 21-18 after going 16-0-0 in the Regular Season.

The Natural is one of only two JFF league members to have never lost a Regular Season contest or a Playoff contest during his participation in the league to date. Former league member Victor S. a.k.a. “Pasadena Soldier” also never lost a Regular contest or Playoff contest.

Other human user vs. human user match-ups:

JFF Colts (Air Attack) AT JFF Broncos (DMan)

DeMarrio G. a.k.a. “DMan” was the person who first introduced EA Sports’ Madden NFL to Alan C. a.k.a. “Air Attack” back in late December of 1997. The two long-time friends were the Commissioner and Co-Commissioner of the first organized Madden NFL PlayStation league in Los Angeles county, The MFLA.

Last season, DMan earned his first playoff berth in the JFF after going 10-6-0 in the Regular Season with the JFF San Francisco 49ers. Air, who will be participating in the JFF for the tenth season, finished last season with his best Regular Season record ever at 15-1-0 with the JFF Indianapolis Colts, the same team he is the Owner / Coach of this season.
