Madden Bowl Bracket Decided, Finals Set for Super Bowl Weekend

$1 Million Madden Bowl Bracket Finalized with Final set for Super Bowl Weekend

The stage is officially set, as the final two spots have been locked down for the finale of the 2024 Madden Championship Series. Strap, Justin, Astro and Torrey each competed in the Ultimate Tiebreaker on Tuesday looking to secure the 13 and 14 spots in the Madden Bowl. Astro and Justin ended the night with victories guaranteeing themselves a $30,000 payout and a chance at life changing money.

Million Dollar Madden Bowl Bracket Finalized

This year’s Madden Bowl prize pool is $1 million USD, with the winner taking home the grand prize of $250,000. The top 14 have been seeded based on MCS points, and seeds 3-14 will fist have to compete in the Wild Card Round. Henry and Jonbeast hold the top two positions and will be the only two players receiving a bye to the Quarterfinals. At the conclusion of the Semifinals only two players will be left standing, and each will be flown out to Las Vegas to take place in the live event on Super Bowl weekend. This will be held on February 9th at the House of Blues and will feature performances from Breland, Big Boi, Killer Mike, and Green Day.

Madden 24 was the most played MCS in the game’s history, where players accumulated points competing in five separate tournaments throughout the year. The first event, the Ultimate Kickoff, began August 19th, only one day after the release of the game. This event had the largest prize pool of the qualifying tournaments at $200,000, while the remaining four events had an identical prize pool of $125,000. The total prize pool for the entire series adds up to $1.7 million, and each event included a final live LAN event. Winners not only take-home prize money, they also earn a coveted MCS Belt as a trophy.

Six players will be returning to the final event from last year’s bracket including the 2023 champion Dez. Dez defeated Henry 24-14 in last year’s final, and a potential rematch could be in store as the two find themselves on opposite sides once again. Henry will receive a bye to the Quarter Finals once again as the number one seed and is certainly out for revenge from last year. He not only took home the $40,000 prize in the first tournament of the season, he also has a second place finish in the Harvest Challenge that netted him a cool $20,000.

Dates have not been announced for individual rounds but here are the matchups for the 2024 Madden Bowl and a list of the winner from each of the previous five events. You can find all the past results and the official MCS points leaderboard on the Battlefly website.
