NBA 2K League Qualifier Information Released: How to Qualify and More

NBA 2K League

The NBA 2K League will soon be entering the league’s second season, and four new teams (Hawks Talon GC, Nets GC, Lakers Gaming and T-Wolves Gaming) will be joining the league in 2019. The new teams will raise the league’s size to 21 teams. With expansion of the league and a new season ahead, new players will be needed for the league, and here’s your chance to be a part of the 2K League.

The NBA 2K League announced today details on the qualifiers that will be held next month to determine who will be in the league next year. Here are all the details on this year’s qualifier:

NBA 2K League Qualifiers

Qualifiers will start on November 2 at 12 PM EST, and will conclude on November 26 at 6 PM EST. In order for the league to measure a player’s skill and commitment, a player must win 100 games in NBA 2K19‘s Pro-Am mode or at the Jordan Rec Center. In addition, a player must win at least 50 percent of their games (for example, if a player plays 100 games, that player would have to win 50 or more games).

In addition, players who want to compete for a spot in the 2K League must complete an online application by November 26. Players will be asked questions on their gaming background, basketball and 2K IQ, as well as an audio submission where the player explains why he or she wants to be drafted in the league.

After this, a combine will be held in December, where the best players will be identified and selected for the 2K League. In order to qualify for the event in November, one must have a copy of NBA 2K19 for the PS4 or Xbox One, and a player must be over 18 or older by November 2.
