EA and Criterion Games™ team up with Parisian fashion house Balmain, to release exclusive Need for Speed™ Unbound, Balmain content. This is real-world footwear that is also in-game content. Need for Speed Unbound is scheduled to release on December 7th and fashion is the name of the game. This year, EA teams up to bring Balmain’s luxury style to the series. Real-world fashion house Balmain steps in to add themes that promote freedom of choice, style, and feeling.
Gaming and Fashion Collide
Need for Speed™ Unbound and Balmain will kick off its December 7th release with a new look in gaming fashion. Check out the B-IT Slider in the game. It’s footwear that you can actually buy in the real world. Not only can you buy them in the real world, but with only 300 scheduled for production, they are also limited editions.
Video game content takes another step closer to real life with the introduction of Balmain’s newly sponsored in-game model and rival racer Eleonor. Eleonor sports a unique Balmain-designed dress from the house’s Fall 2022 collection. As an added experience players can also collect four different pieces of Balmain apparel.
The Art of Racing Challenge
The next Need for Speed™ franchise promises to deliver just as it has years before. This year the game trailers showcase unique art for the series. New shades of color, slash, arrow and smoke effects adorn the trailers. Deep textures and graffiti-inspired paint tones streak across the screen. But don’t worry, Need for Speed™ Unbound buckles drivers in the seat of their very own racing adventure. The game takes on a fantastic new approach to game graphic design. This year the franchise features visual styles inspired by real-life street art. Realistic-looking cars, designer fashion, and street art race together as I’ve ever seen before in Need for Speed™ Unbound.
