NPD Sales Results for December 2015: Call of Duty #1, 3 Sports Games in Top 10

In the final NPD Sales of 2015 Call of Duty: Black Ops III topped the software sales charts while 3 sports games, Madden 16, NBA 2K16 and FIFA 16 all finished in the top 10. PlayStation 4 was the top selling console in December and in 2015. PS4 also had the strongest third-party software sales in 2015 in the U.S. according to NPD. PS3, 360, Wii hardware dropped 71 percent YOY in December. Portables dropped 32 percent while the ‘new gen’ systems were up 4%.
