Sony originally scheduled a virtual event on June 4 to detail and look at new games for the PS5. The event was designed to showcase studios, “both large and small” and the capabilities of the Playstation 5 system.
Today, Playstation announced that it was postponing the event, citing the events of the last week. Playstation, via Twitter stated, “While we understand gamers worldwide are excited to see PS5 games, we do not feel that right now is a time for celebration and for now, we want to stand back and allow more important voices to be heard.”
