EA Play 2018: EA Confirms Madden NFL 19 PC Release

After being originally reported back in May, EA Sports has confirmed that Madden NFL 19 will be coming to the PC via EA’s Origin Service.

The game’s release on the platform marks the first time since Madden NFL 08 that the series will be available to those with PC.

While many believed the lack of a PC version was solely due to piracy concerns, the PC player base had dwindled to the point where a game on the platform didn’t make financial sense. In addition to Madden, both NBA and NHL saw their PC versions dropped from release leaving FIFA as the only major EA Sports franchise to remain on the platform.

Madden NFL 19 launches August 11 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game’s release on PC, SGO has learned, will not be right at launch rather down the line closer to the fall.
